Little Lucy, only eleven days old here, is just a perfect addition to the "B" family, who I met during their maternity session. It was so special for me to see Lucy go from belly to the great, big world. She was calm and just absolutely happy. I don't think I heard her cry once! These are two blessed parents with this little one. As a side note, and as a woman after natural remedies myself, Lucy's mom used coconut oil to soothe her dry skin--and it was working wonderfully! Just check out that smooth skin. Congratulations, "B" family and welcome to the world, Lucy!

The "B" family contacted me to help document a wonderful and special time in their lives. Jenny was an active soon-to-be-mama, which was a apparent by her gorgeous glow. They included special artifacts, like the book of poems they were reading to little Lucy throughout the whole pregnancy. They braved the cold for a beautiful shoot, and we were even able to recreate their favorite wedding photo (the laying down in the grass capture). So many congratulations on their newest addition, Lucy! Check for her newborn blog entry coming soon!
This big family just has extra love to spread around! It was a chilly, but perfectly delightful morning spent at their beautiful home in Vestal. The older two girls are so photogenic, and sure know how to work the camera. The twins, or the "A Team", as their parents called them, were just cute as buttons playing with the last of the fall leaves. We even got some lovely picture of Julie's soaps (or which she gave me a few, and they smell absolutely amazing!) Can we also talk about how gorgeous she is? It was such a pleasure to share this exciting time with such a lovely family. Happy holidays to the "R" Family!
Amber & Dave met on a pretty chilly fall day at one of my favorite shooting locations, Myers Park in Lansing, NY. In tow, they had their gorgeous baby girl and of course their fur babies! Myers Park has so much to offer, with the romantic yet rustic railroad bridge, to the lake view, lighthouse, and gigantic playground for their little one.
It was an absolutely lovely morning getting to know these two, and I am so excited to be documenting their wedding day this summer! Happy planning, Amber & Dave! It's double the love in the "L" household these days with these stunning twins. I worked with their mom when I was in Binghamton, and had intended on making this a newborn shoot, but Chase was in the NICU for quite some time. All caught up to his sister, they were long overdue for their first photoshoot! We tried to incorporate both fall and the upcoming winter season. It was a pretty chilly day, but that gave us more time to try out our Christmas light experiment in their beautiful nursery. Their backyard was so picturesque and had the biggest, most perfect maple leaves I've ever seen! So many congratulations to the parents of these adorable peanuts!
Family "L" contacted me to primarily take pictures of their gorgeous, quickly growing toddler! Of course, no family photo is complete without a couple shots with man's best friend. Gilda, the gorgeous puppy pictured, was a joy and it was clear that the toddler and her dog were inseparable (whether Gilda liked it or not!)
We captured these photos at Cornell University's Plantations, and Beebe Lake. The fall colors were in full bloom and the dusky light was just a perfect compliment to an unseasonably warm and perfectly enjoyable autumn day. Please enjoy, share, and comment below! Ashley & Logan were married on a perfect September day. The sun was shining almost as bright as the love between these two people. When I did Ashley & Logan's engagement session, it was apparent that they were meant for each other. Both in flannel, and with matching down-to-earth personalities, I knew this was one of those "once in a lifetime" matches. Their wedding day was thoughtfully planned, bright, beautiful, and surrounded by family & friends--including their dog, Brandy. It certainly would not have been a family affair without her! The balloons and the soda pins in lieu of boutonnieres were just a couple of special touches to their "Up" themed wedding. Many wishes for a lifetime of deep-rooted love that grows each and every day. Congratulations! Rick and Ruby were married on a beautiful summer day at their church surrounded by so much love. We stopped by Thornden Park in Syracuse, NY which boasts beautiful rose gardens, a Syracuse skyline, and gorgeous sunlight. Rick and Ruby had so many personal touches, and it is clear they are a couple who can compromise. Ruby got her big, traditional tiered wedding cake, which Rick's cake was an homage to his talents as a singer, with a microphone and music notes atop the mini-cake. I wish you all the best, Rick and Ruby, for a long, beautiful, and blessed life together!
I had the pleasure of meeting Brennan at only 11 days old. He is one of the healthiest babies I have ever seen, and his parents just clearly love him beyond words! We tried to incorporate both Ithaca College, which Greg is an alumni of, and Cornell University, where Katy works. I think Brennan is going to be a sports lover, too... but maybe a reader, or a musician, too! With such well-rounded parents, it is clear that Brennan is going to have a very full and exciting life ahead of him. Congratulations on your handsome addition! Please feel free to share this page or comment below.
Teresa and Steve were married on a GORGEOUS afternoon at Lily Pond in the beautiful Thornden Park of Syracuse, NY. It was an exciting and colorful wedding to shoot, due to the expansive flower gradens, and of course Teresa's amazing tattoo sleeve. She also snuck her favorite color--lime green, in the bouquet. They were surrounded by their very closest friends and family and the love for this couple was astounding. Best wishes for a lifetime of happiness! |
