I had the pleasure of doing a mini engagement session for Catherine & Jonathan over the (very frigid!) weekend. We started in Armory Square, Syracuse, where the happy couple met, and where Jonathan eventually dropped to his knee and proposed to Catherine! We ended the session at the beautiful Onondaga Lake Park. Despite the football playoffs being on and the extremely cold weather, Jonathan was a trooper. You know it's love if he will miss football for his sweetie. When I think of Cathy, I always think high fashion and she definitely did not let me down with her exquisite taste in outerwear, the Mackenzie Childs umbrella, and Benji's blue coat! I wish a lifetime of happiness and laughter for this beautiful couple. Enjoy, and feel free to comment below.

I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with my sister and her two beautiful children. We had a mountain of fresh snow to work with, and got some great shots both inside and out. The family even go to show off their cowboy boot collection! Too fun. Of course, our session ended with a snow ball fight and some tongue-coloring Ring Pops--why not?! Be sure to "like" Maggie Gallagher Photography on Facebook, comment below and enjoy! It is so cold today we are officially in the negatives! I believe it's currently -8. So, curl up in a blanket and warm up with this summer throwback! I had the pleasure of shooting at my beautiful niece's 2nd birthday party over the summer. I had seen the basket she is pictured in at Target and knew I had to have it for the shoot. Adorable chalk board enhanced basket + a bunch of fly away polka dot balloons = adorable setup for my adorable niece! Some of the most candid shots, like the one below of Laney enjoying her cupcake, are my absolute favorite. I can't wait for Laney's third birthday party, to capture all of the beautiful moments again. Please feel free to comment below. Thanks! Uh oh, Viv--better watch out! I had a lot of fun getting some pet practice with my lionhead rabbit, Vivienne. Little did I know, Vlad would go all "photoshoot crashers" on me--but that's one of the greatest parts about photographing pets--unpredictability! Viv is the best kind of model, because she is adorable without trying. She is quick moving though--which made focusing on her a bit of a challenge. |
