Emile & Matt were actually the lucky winners of an engagement session at the last bridal show I went to at Hotel Ithaca. It was such a gorgeous evening to spend with these two, whose love just pours out for each other (and their adorable dog!) The shoot was at the Cornell Plantations, and at the ponds in the arboretum. I don't know what is different this summer--but I have never seen the Plantations look more beautiful. Definitely worth a visit if you come to the Ithaca area! Now these two are what I call "troopers". Though there was an imminent threat of a consistent downpour (which led to flash flooding!), these two were ready and willing to tackle the rain.... and rain never looked so good! Luckily, we did have a few short breaks where we were able to catch some poses outside the umbrella!
