Miss Emma's mom is a colleague of mine and her dad is a brave firefighter in our community. Their love for this beautiful, little peanut is just endless! Welcome to the world, Emma! 

Carrie & Walter have a sweet and effortless love (proof by our surprise stop at Stewart's Ice Cream where they had their first date!) Their day was filled with timeless elegance, their friends, family and all the love it takes to build a lifetime union between two people. Wishing these two all the very best and many, many more ice cream cones in the future! 

These gorgeous twins and their beautiful mamas met me for a late summer day to capture family portraits. The twins were the perfect age for exploring all the foliage in the beautiful Cornell Plantations. I love that this was in no way an "everyone look at the camera" shoot. Their moms really trusted me to capture their busy personalities! Enjoy them while they're little! 

Christy & Ethan's day was the perfect blend of rustic country & timeless elegance. Christy was never more beautiful than in her lace details dress as her father walked her down the long church aisle. Ethan in his crisp white, gray & yellow details beamed with happiness from the moment he saw her until the last dance. Their lakeside venue was the mix of modern & rustic they were looking for, and complimented every detail they planned. Best wishes to the Mr. & Mrs.! 

Sunny & Cindy returned to their alma mater of Cornell University to celebrate where they met and fell in love. We toured around the campus to places that meant a lot to both of them. My favorite location was in the incredible library pictured above. All the details, combined with Cindy's sweeping gown and their magnetic love made for a picture perfect evening! Best wishes in your marriage and all of your professional endeavors! 

Brian & Claire are both phenomenal bluegrass musicians, and that pivotal role in their lives and their relationship was evident on their breathtaking wedding day. Check out Claire's band, Driftwood, and all of Brian's adventures here. Every little detail from Claire's gentle crocheted dress and elegant emerald shoes, to Brian's vintage apparel & "getting ready" jam session created the most perfect vision of the life they are to build with each other and the incredible community behind their union. A friend's mountain top venue was the epitome of a perfect backdrop, including horse drawn carriages, showers of "blue grass" as they recessed down the aisle, and a dance floor lit by the stars as the guests danced the night away. Many wishes of harmony to this couples bright & melodic future!

Becca & Xandar just oozed style and sophistication (and so much love!) during their engagement session in the beautiful Franklin Square. Their light hearted nature and total comfort with each other made this e-session so enjoyable for me, too! I can't wait to capture their wedding--stay tuned for those pics summer 2017! 

Nathan was the third of my 2017 graduates and had a super fun shoot starting no where else but the basketball courts! He showed off some skills there before we headed to Franklin Square to capture the rest of his shoot and even sneak in a few family shots before we finished. Katie & Lee's wedding was not your ordinary country chic. There wedding had a comfortable elegance that carried from start to finish with every detail thought out and executed perfectly. From Katie's family's lakeside barn & cabin for their ceremony, to their beautifully landscaped reception venue--every bit of this wedding was as charming as their love for each other.
