I have always loved pregnant women and thought the "glow" took them from merely human to powerful goddess. Stephanie was the realization of my dream for this shoot, and her son-to-be, Mars, is blessed to have this woman as a mama. Her beautiful features pop against the milky bath and the flowers (mostly gerberas, her favorite!) accentuate the perfect curves.

This gorgeous, glowing mama-to-be is hands down one of the greatest people I know. I had the pleasure of working right across the hall from her for a couple of years when I taught in Binghamton. Seeing her interact with students who no one else knew how to help, change lives by the dozen, and spread absolute cheer everywhere was such a great honor and blessing for me. Cooper (pictured in a few) was a fixture in her classroom as well. He is the most docile and loving dog I have ever met and will surely make a great big brother. Evan and Val are going to make the greatest parents, as the love between the two and for their bundle on the way is just so apparent. Many congratulations, you two! 

The "B" family contacted me to help document a wonderful and special time in their lives. Jenny was an active soon-to-be-mama, which was a apparent by her gorgeous glow. They included special artifacts, like the book of poems they were reading to little Lucy throughout the whole pregnancy. They braved the cold for a beautiful shoot, and we were even able to recreate their favorite wedding photo (the laying down in the grass capture). So many congratulations on their newest addition, Lucy! Check for her newborn blog entry coming soon! 

It's a boy! It was my pleasure to help the Donikian's celebrate their first child with a gender reveal themed shoot. It was a beautiful Cornell alumni weekend, and this happy couple has a lot to celebrate.

It was a gorgeous start to a beautiful weekend with these two expectant love birds. I have never seen two soon-to-be parents more excited about their little peanut's arrival. In addition, just look at that mama glow! There is nothing quite like that glow.

We started our session at Myer's Park's beautiful railroad bridge, and then headed into the park for some shots near the beautiful Cayuga lake.

It was such a pleasure, and a remarkably beautiful day to celebrate the soon-to-be addition to the Underwood family. The farm was in full bloom with knee high grass and dandelion puffs floating everywhere. 

We took a mini-tour of the farm which provided an endless amount of beautiful backdrops. The warm sunset provided the perfect light for our glowing mama and family. What an incredible way to spend such a picturesque evening. 

My best wishes to the Underwood family for a healthy and happy pregnancy, and all of the joy that comes with an addition to the family.
