Baby Madilyn was the sweetest little peanut! She hardly cried a peep and was just content to pose and eat and pose and eat. I was just in love with her little skin wrinkles and tiny fingers and toes. Welcome to the world, Miss Madilyn!

Although most newborn shoots taken place during the first two weeks, Connor had a rougher start and was in the NICU for the first few weeks. With the wonderful care of his medical team, and unparalleled love from his parents, he gained strength and was soon ready for his camera debut. He is such a sweet little peanut! Welcome to the world, Connor.  

Huck & Hattie are so blessed to be joining their amazing family in this journey. They were two of the most peaceful and content babies I have ever worked with. They were so responsive to touch and were perfect models napping together and then separately for a perfectly smooth session. Welcome to the world, Huck & Hattie! 

Miss Emma's mom is a colleague of mine and her dad is a brave firefighter in our community. Their love for this beautiful, little peanut is just endless! Welcome to the world, Emma! 

Baby Joseph just made my morning with his calm and happy nature. He is by far one of the happiest babies I've had the honor of photographing for a newborn session. His gorgeous sister was the absolute perfect assistant and this family could not be more perfect. Welcome to the world, Joseph!

I was so honored to document this wonderful, growing family. I've worked with Hugo's big sister and parents on a couple of occasions, and it's just heart warming to welcome Hugo to the family. Even the family dog got in on the action, and sweet Hugo is just perfect. Welcome to the world! 

First of all, just look at how petite this peanut is at 22 days old?! What a stunning beauty. Miss Layla's mom and I went to graduate school together not long ago and if I learned one thing about her from those three grueling summers together--it's that she wanted nothing more than to be a mama. 

Shortly after grad school, my husband and I attended her gorgeous (and super fun!) wedding. We pulled a lot of pieces from their wedding, obviously the wedding dress, veil and shoes, but also the peacock feathers pictured above. Also, for those of you who don't know, that's a viola below--Mary's primary instrument. I loved using all of the items in this shoot that had a lot of meaning. Props near to the heart always have the most powerful impact.

Miss Layla was simply a doll for this shoot. Layla you are so lucky to have two parents who love you so deeply, and parents--you're even luckier, just look at that sweet girl! :) 

Best wishes for a happy, healthy, and glowing first year for Layla. I hope to see her again very soon!

Little Lucy, only eleven days old here, is just a perfect addition to the "B" family, who I met during their maternity session. It was so special for me to see Lucy go from belly to the great, big world. She was calm and just absolutely happy. I don't think I heard her cry once! These are two blessed parents with this little one. As a side note, and as a woman after natural remedies myself, Lucy's mom used coconut oil to soothe her dry skin--and it was working wonderfully! Just check out that smooth skin. Congratulations, "B" family and welcome to the world, Lucy!

I had the pleasure of meeting Brennan at only 11 days old. He is one of the healthiest babies I have ever seen, and his parents just clearly love him beyond words! We tried to incorporate both Ithaca College, which Greg is an alumni of, and Cornell University, where Katy works. I think Brennan is going to be a sports lover, too... but maybe a reader, or a musician, too! With such well-rounded parents, it is clear that Brennan is going to have a very full and exciting life ahead of him. Congratulations on your handsome addition! I am just SO in love with adorable baby Stetson. I had the pleasure of capturing him first while he was still in his mom's belly, and although I thought they were excited when they were pregnant--these parents are over the moon happy with their little man in the world.
